@Dtmcthe1Jay isnt necessarily a sell out it just he can be successful in most things because being the hottest in the game isnt his idea of being a good rapper its that you stay true and rap about your life and not what most people would like to hear you talk about. He makes mainstream record? numbers not mainstream music. Plus kanye is his own man he could have been anything to do with music you probably dont even know that most of watch the thrones instrumentals were his he is talented himself

@lsvllv Thats not really true, Buffet is wayyy richer than Jay Z. To put it this way, a billion dollars is to a million dollars, what a million dollars is to a thousand dollars….
Jay Z has like 500million, and Buffet has 50 bilion. That means Buffet is a 100 times richer than him. Thats quite a lot, if Jay Z can afford to eat a 1000 dollar dinner, Buffet can? afford a 100,000 dollar dinner…if Jay Z can spend a million on a new car, Buffet can spend 100million on a new Jet…
I love what Jay talks about from 10:51. It is so true that you have to be true to yourself. Many of these new artists are just jumping on the “hot” train, and people can see through that. It won’t last? because it isn’t real. My favorite part of the whole interview because people often do the opposite because they are afraid of being themselves. Being true to yourself is scary but it is the only way.
Comparing the 2 is a fallacy. Even though Warren is the 2nd? richest in US (Birkshire), Jay is very influential. You can go anywhere in the world, and somebody will know Jay Z’s name. Warren has incredible power too through his monetary prowess. At this level, its not about money to these guys…they were way past that when they began making millions. Its all about their message and legacy. Thats why Warren has vowed to give his money away to charity and J isnt doesnt act like PDiddy.

There are so many similarities between the two. They both got started young (Jay’s first album wasn’t released until he was 26 but he talks about how he loved music when he was young but got sidetracked for a little while by his surroundings). They both work very hard and are passionate about what they do. They are both confident in themselves and don’t worry when people say they might mess up (like Warren said he? is smart in “spots” and when it comes to that “spot” he is usually always right).
noone was comparing in contrast. just two very successful men (even though buffet can make 5 phone calls that would change the world) and the stories they share and the SIMILARITIES for success. Jay Z will never even see? close the money buffet messes with everyday.. but both are successful in their fields and just sharing how they got where they were and what it took personally to get their. one thing all these people share in common is their personal DRIVE for success
