From struggling to making money consistently in Options Trading. How I did it?

When I first started learning how to trade options, I signed up for a three days seminar to learn from a “guru”, spent about 00, I think… Eventually, it turns out that this “guru” had questionable credentials and is now facing lawsuits from his students asking for a refund… I did not bother asking for a refund, because the amount I lost is probably minimal compared to what some of my classmates lost trading the strategies they learnt from this self-proclaimed expert…I never traded the strategies the “guru” taught, because I found them way too risky, akin to gambling… even though I had yet to figure out the right way to trade options then, I knew enough to suspect that what he taught won’t work out in the long run… I am not really upset about wasting my course fees, but I am more upset about being “thrown” onto the wrong track…. because even though I didn’t trade what the “guru” taught, I was led to believe that buying options is the right way to trade.. I was “lured” by the promise of limited loss, unlimited profits; and that greed was magnified when I attended the seminar, which supposedly teaches you how to identify stocks that will gap up overnight…As a result, I wasted three years trying to figure out how to buy options for explosive returns… I made some, I lost more… I was on the verge of giving up, until one day when I chanced upon an options trading book in a bookshop… That book teaches you how to sell options, and argues why that is the right way to proceed…That was the turning point in my trading… When the student is ready, the teacher appears… Once I opened my mind to selling options, I found a few good resources… The “Tradingology Video Course” is one of them….
